We’re Matt and Skylar Jackson, founders of Throne Church, a brand-new church community planted in the heart of North Dallas. Our story began at Redemption Church, where Matt served as youth pastor for over a decade. It’s also where we met, fell in love, and began a life of ministry together. We married in 2019, and our family has since grown to include our two greatest blessings, Judah and Journey.

Matt has over 15 years of pastoral experience and a master’s degree in Practical Theology from The King’s University. Under the ministry and mentorship of Ron Carpenter, Matt has been deeply rooted in the message of the kingdom, the power of the Holy Spirit, and releasing God’s purpose to the next generation. Skylar, a Texas Tech graduate, has faithfully worked alongside him in youth ministry, building relationships, and pointing others to Jesus.

For years, we felt a stirring in our hearts to plant a church; a place where people could encounter God, find belonging, and be equipped to live out their purpose. About two years ago, after much prayer and preparation, we sensed a clear call: God was leading us to North Dallas.
